These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MyCarrierVault ("the Service"), operated by MyCarrierVault ("we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MyCarrierVault, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the authority to bind your company to these Terms, and agree to comply with them.
2. Description of Service
MyCarrierVault is a web-based DOT compliance management platform for motor carriers. The Service includes driver qualification file tracking, vehicle record management, document expiry alerts, IFTA fuel tax calculations, CSA score monitoring, inspection tracking, and related compliance tools.
3. Free Trial
New accounts receive a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial period, continued access may require a paid subscription. We will notify you before your trial ends.
4. Your Account
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Ensuring the accuracy of information you enter into the platform
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise our systems
- Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
- Attempt to access other companies' data
- Reverse engineer or copy the Service
6. Data Accuracy
MyCarrierVault is a tool to help you organize and track compliance information. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data you enter. MyCarrierVault does not guarantee that use of the platform ensures regulatory compliance. Always verify your compliance status with qualified legal or regulatory counsel.
7. Intellectual Property
The MyCarrierVault platform, including its design, code, and content, is owned by MyCarrierVault and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your data remains yours — we claim no ownership over the compliance records you store in the platform.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyCarrierVault shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to regulatory fines, penalties, or audit failures. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
9. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.
10. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us at admin@mycarriervault.com. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days and then deleted upon request.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, binding arbitration.
